Overview With a convenient location just off State Route 92 this campground is great for families and outdoor enthusiasts. Two Lick Trailhead is located within the campground and providing easy and accessible access. Also each campsite is furnished with a fire ring, picnic table, and lantern ring. Recreation Area trails provide hiking and biking opportunities who do not want to venture far from camp. The trailhead for Two Lick Trail #456 and Two Lick Bottom Trail #457 is located the entrance of the campground. Only three miles from the campground is the Rimel Area Trailhead and Picnic Area. Visitors can access Laurel Creek Trail #466 and Middle Mountain Trail #608 from here. Facilities Each campsite has a picnic table, campfire ring, and lantern post. There is one vault toilet that serves the campground. Natural Features This campground is located in a wooded setting.

Getting There

From Marlinton take US Route 39 south east for 12 miles. Turn right (south) on State Route 92. Proceed two miles to Pocahontas Campground.
